John Beresford Newcastle United Legend in Belfast

Maltman Designs is working with the Belfast Mags to bring one of Newcastle Utd's 90s legends John Beresford to Northern Ireland for a very special one-off (private) event in the Doyen bar.

The evening will consist of a live and uncensored Q and A with John Beresford, a 2 course meal, a sefie with the man himself and an opportunity to have a signature with Beresford.

We open the doors at 6:30pm for people to have their meals and 7:30pm for all those who aren't eating.

Following on from that we will welcome John to the stage for a live Q & A and to end the night their will be an opportunity to have some memorabilia signed (at a cost)

This is the first of (hopefully) a series of Newcastle Legends visiting the Doyen Bar - Home of the Belfast Mags - who meet there every game to support Newcastle United.

In the history of Newcastle United - not many teams have had the lasting legacy of the 1990s 'Entertainers' - the team who famously came second in the Premier League after running away with the League and being 12 points clear - before succumbing to the Mind games of Man Utd.

The matra of 'we will score more than you' gave the Geordie football fans proper entertaining football for the first time in years, made a legend out of Kevin Keegan and each and every one of the players

Even now - 30 years later the legend of the Newcastle United entertainers lives on in the minds of football fans (not just Newcastle fans)

We are delighted to welcome Bez to Northern Ireland for the first time
