Kettering Town FC. A new era within the community / An evening with...

I am delighted to be involved with my local football club Kettering Town. I have always been a fan of The Poppies (alongside Newcastle United) and in 2024 the club has been taken over with a brand new, dynamic ownership who have made it one of their key focuses to re-instate the club as a key part of the community

Football has been a big part of my career and when i saw on social media that Kettering town were looking for a graphic designer to help them achieve their goal and increase the relevancy of the club, increase the funding and make the football club a place that offers more than just 90 mins on a saturday

Kettering has recently redecorated their club house and opened 'Club 1892' in which live events will be held - already they have hosted Ron Atkinson, Sean Dyche and Rapid Ricky Evans

I have been tasked with creating the latest 'Evening with' poster that features TWO former Kettering Town Captains Craig Norman and Colin Vowden

This was the poster I was given to improve

CLUB 1892 have also invested in Sky Sports and TNT Sports, so now rather than only being able to see The Poppies play, Local football fans can sit in a re-decorated club house and watch the Premier League and European Football

My first task with the Poppies was to create the flyers to promote the new TV services in the club house and the community
