How to Green Screen and Rotoscoping with ease in Premier Pro

I am old enough to remember when rotoscoping was the go to method to 'cutting out' a person from a video clip to create really awesome looking content for videos.
And it is something I have never truly managed to master - and therefore avoided!
Another method was the classic green screen - where you stand your subject in front of the screen and can edit out the colour in post production. Which sounds like a simple solution - but the trick with green screen is to create a perfectly smooth and perfectly lit backdrop - that doesn't leave any weird and wonderful shadows and creases etc on the final result - again something that I have failed at many a time - and often have received footage that is no where near good enough to key out the colour and the person isn't totally surrounded by the green!

All this being said I am delighted to discover Adobe Express now has this feature available at the touch of a button. As AI gears up to take over my profession, I might as well use it while I can to do as much as possible before I am obsolete!
The fact that an AI background removal on the videos gives brilliantly smooth cut outs around the people - which is incredibly difficult to do by hand as people all have unique pointy bits and hair and the like - all of this is a thing of the past and a designer such as myself is free to be creative
It is an absolute joy and time saver learning how to green screen with ease in premier pro and adobe express
The joy of working on Adobe Express is that it is incredible simple to use and work with, but has some really fun and interesting features. I am loving the remove background button, then colour the background a bright green, download the clip and transfer to Premier Pro to Ultra Key it out and add wonderful and interesting backgrounds for more unique videos
